What is the last movie you saw? (SOW 4/3/07)
"After a 12-month hibernation from the movie world that had to do with parenthood, [my wife Vanessa and I] finally decided to go out again. We got a babysitter and saw Hannibal Rising. It was one of the top 15 worst movies I've ever seen. Then I saw the new Jim Carrey movie, The Number 23 -- it was a zero -- and The Departed. Everything was amazing about that film. It made me feel ill, it was so good. Scorsese and brains on the wall! If it makes you feel good, there's something wrong with you."

What figure of speech do you never want to see in a script again? (SOD 4/24/07)
"'I love you.' We say it far too often and it loses its meaning."

Which prime-time series would you most like to guest on? (SOW 5/15/07)
"Boston Legal, because it's genius. It's the kind of humor I respect. It is hilarious, intelligent, challenging, multifaceted and original. It's the greatest show ever...maybe not ever. But I'll say it anyway!"

Who's your all-time favorite TV dad? (SOW 6/19/07)
"Archie Bunker from All in the Family. I used to watch him on Sundays at my grandmother's place, because she had a TV [and] we didn't."

The last time I lost my temper was... (SOD 8/21/07)
"Oh, my God, last night! I flipped out. I haven't flipped out in a long time. My daughter was having a sleepover when she got food poisoning and at 2 a.m., I had to go pick her up at this really swanky, Upper East Side apartment building. I rang the doorbell and this guy explodes from behind the counter -- he was asleep -- throws his arms up in the air and curses at me, 'F--- off! Go away!' and points at his watch. It probably didn't help that I spent the entire day driving with my friend who chainsmokes and I quit smoking a month ago. I just about lost my mind."

What film would you love to star in a remake of? (SID 9/25/07)
"[Indiana Jones And The] Temple Of Doom -- best movie ever made! I couldn't do it as well, let me say that straight-up, but God, would that be a fun movie to make."

Who on your show do you most admire or look up to, and why? (SID 10/23/07)
"Michael Easton (John). I love how he's managed to channel so many other art forms and still work steadily. He's got a really good artistic life set up. If I could also write and do photography, and do all these other things he does and still work on a soap opera and pay my bills, it would be fantastic...a fantastic thing he's got set up!"

What can't you bring yourself to delete from your TiVo? (SOD 10/30/07)
"Me on CSI and The Tony Danza Show because I'm too lazy to make a DVD copy of them."

Other than home and work, what is your favorite place in the entire world? (SID 11/6/07)
"Kejimkujik National Park in Nova Scotia. There's an amazing chain of lakes to canoe through every summer, and the lakes have islands. So you'll camp on the island -- it's all yours -- then you'll canoe to another island and stay on that one, all the way through the park. It's fantastic and so beautiful."

Who on your cast should be president, and why? (SID 11/20/07)
"Jerry verDorn (Clint)! He'd be hilarious. Besides the fact that he's so well versed in pretty much every topic, he's also charming, pragmatic and simultaneously, a humanist."

What was Forbes' most memorable fan encounter? (SID 11/20/07)
"[When I was at] Home Depot, where I go to forget that I'm a city actor and indulge my fantasy as a country farmer, [a woman] showed me a picture of her son who she had named Nash. I felt really great about that and was beginning to take it personally until my father reminded me that she had named her son Nash, not Forbes, and after all, I don't even write the character, I just stand where I'm told and say my lines. Than goodness Dad was there that day."

Who was your favorite actor or actress growing up? And now? (SID 12/4/07)
"Growing up it was Matt Dillon, and now the guy who plays Dexter [Michael C. Hall] fascinates me."

Who is the most athletic person in your cast? (SID 12/17/07)
"Tobias [Truvillion, Vincent]. You can tell that he's an athlete."
