Ready For More! (Soaps In Depth 6/19/07)
Considering that OLTL's Forbes March (Nash) thinks that "having lots of siblings
is an unbelievable blessing," expect additional brothers and sisters for
Marina, 7, and Peter, 8 months. "Family is a wonderful thing," he says. "I
want a big one." And thankfully, everything seems to be going well for the
beautiful family that March and his wife, Vanessa, have right now. But an
early crisis was averted when Vanessa was still pregnant with Peter. "My
daughter and my wife ritualistically clean her jewelry," shares the actor.
"And it's always been this thing taht 'When Mommy's gone, this will all be
yours.' Then it dawned on Marina, before we knew if it was going to be a
boy or a girl, that if it was a daughter, she would have to split it with
her sister! At which point she suddenly changed her mind about wanting a
girl and said, 'I think a brother would be nice.'" Sure enough, Marina got
her wish and the two have gone on to have a "fantastic" relationship, leaving
only one more family issue unresolved. "My wife is convinced that my
blonde-haired, blue-eyed, very white son looks just like her, who has dark
hair, brown eyes and olive skin," March says with a laugh. "She's actually
had photographs mailed to us from Italy to confirm that he's the spitting
image of her when she was that age!" So, is Vanessa right? "Not a chance,"
her loving hubby says with a grin. "Not at all."
