Standout Scene: Jess Films a Farewell Video! (Soaps In Depth 7/3/07)

When One Life to Live's Jessica was dying of liver cancer last month, she decided to leave Bree something to remember her by. But the very thought of her leaving this existence was something that Nash just couldn't accept. "Don't talk like that," he admonished her. "I will do anything that you ask me to do -- you know that -- but don't ask me to do this." Jess recruited Clint over to her way of thinking, though, giving Nash no choice but to go along with her wishes. And so, after she handed her father a list of books to give Bree each year, she was ready to record her words. "Hi, sweetheart," she began. "I just wanted to tell you a few things that I don't want you to forget...I want you to know that I'm with you, even though you can't see me. I'm with you and your daddy all the time... And you guys take care of each other, okay? And don't be sad about me." Of course, it was impossible to not be sad afterward, and when an emotional Viki and Clint had to leave the room after witnessing Jessica's bravery, we knew exactly how they felt.
