How much planning went into the big day? "None. We did it at a hotel in Costa Rica and they pretty much did everything for us. There was never a 'no' from them the whole time. In all fairness, Josh and I are super easy and didn't really have any big requests about our wedding, just that we wanted to get married down on the beach. But it was the best wedding I've ever been to. Everybody there had the most amazing day and night ever."

What was on the menu? "Mahi-mahi caught right from the ocean, ribs, filet, sushi, every kind of salad, like couscous with cranberry, Caprese, Caesar, greens. The guy was a super gourmet chef. It was probably the best meal I've had in my life. They pretty much brought everything to the beach and barbecued. It was incredible."

How many dresses did you try on? "I wore the first one that I tried on. It was perfect. I tried on, like, two more, but there was never any doubt that the first one I tried on was the one I'd get married in. My mom dragged me into this dress shop in Toronto that was totally an old lady, crazy, sequined, beaded dress shop. But I told his lady what I wanted, and she brought out this dress that was perfect, absolutely perfect. it made me feel like you should feel in your wedding dress."

Any feeding of the cake and tossing of the garter-type traditional reception activities? "I did wear a garter -- that was my something blue. We cut the cake, too."
