Grand Tour (Soap Opera Digest 10/4/05)
One Life to Live // Tour Guide: Bree Williamson // Destination: Toronto, Canada

Best Breakfast: "Sneaky Dee's [431 College St.; (416) 603-3090] which is actually a bar, but they have the most amazing Mexican breakfast for like $5. They give you so much food it's ridiculous."

Best "Strip": "One of the main streets in College Street. It's lined with bars and restaurants. It's more of a nighttime area, but you can also get a nice breakfast or brunch on College Street."

Best Lowbrow Shopping: "One of my favorite places in all of Toronto is Kensington Market [67 Kensington Ave.]. It has one whole street of all vintage clothing stores and the best vintage stuff is in Toronto, I think. The whole street is just lined with them, and they sell everything. Kensington Market also has fruit, cheese and meat markets. And they have the best coffee shop ever, called the Moonbeam Cafe [30 St. Andrew; (416) 595-0327]."

Best Posh Shopping: "If you're not into divey stuff, another fantastic market on the weekends is the St. Lawrence Market [92 Front St., (416) 392-7219]. It's at the other end of the city, near the SkyDome. It's a really nice market with fruits, vegetables, meats and cheeses, and it's a really beautiful and really fun outdoor market in a nice, cute little area different from other parts of town."

Best Celebrity Sighting: "The Citytv Building [299 Queen St. W.; (416) 591-5757] which is where MuchMusic [Canadian MTV], is fun to see because sometimes they have celebrities there."

Best-Kept Secret: "You could go to Baldwin Street. It's kind of like this little oasis with a bunch of streets you wouldn't even know are there. It has Christmas lights going all up and down the street, which is really pretty, and it's all restaurants and it's really, really cute."

Best Scenery: "Ontario Place, [955 Lakeshore Boulevard West; www.ontarioplace.com] is gorgeous. It's right on the water and there's a family amusement park that's really fun. They have concerts there in the summer-time. Or, you can take the ferry [(416) 392-8193] over to Toronto Island."
