Jessica & Nash Declare Their Love! (Soaps In Depth (3/13/07)

Lives hang in the balance this week on One Life to Live when Jessica and Nash remain trapped in the fire. But when Antonio risks it all to save his wife and his closest friend, will all three people end up perishing instead?

The Roof Is On Fire!
After first being trapped by the arsonist's blaze and then admitting their love for one another, Jessica and Nash assume that time has finally run out on them. But just when it looks like all hope is lost, Antonio is able to find the trapped duo. The good cop goes to work immediately, and soon he is able to bring his wife to safety. But when it comes time for Antonio to go back for Nash, the unthinkable happens -- the roof collapses on both of them!

Rescue 911
As he and Nash remain trapped under the collapsed roof, Antonio starts trying to break free. And with a monumental effort, Jessica's heroic husband finally manages to get out from under the woof and save himself and Nash from the blaze. Following this, everyone is rushed to the hospital to be treated for their injuries, with Antonio's being the most severe.

But while he is still recuperating in his hospital room, Jessica and Nash manage to get together for a heart-to-heart. The two acknowledge the overwhelming guilt they have for admitting their mutual feelings, and Jessica states that she can't deal with any of this at the present time.

Three's A Crowd!
While Antonio remains out of commission in the hospital, a guilt-ridden Jessica then gets visited by her brother-in-law. But Cristian isn't very happy about having to keep Jess and Nash's situation a solemn secret. Jessica does her best to convince Cris that she truly loves Antonio, though, and makes a vow that she wants to remain with him for the rest of her life.

Nash, however, isn't so sure that Jessica really wants to stick with her husband, even though she told Nash during the fire that she was in love with both of them! Will Nash continue to fight for Jessica? If so, how will Antonio react when he learns about the two of them? And who will Jessica finally end up choosing when it's time for her to decide between her husband and her baby's father?
