OLTL's Shocking Week (SOD 10/24/06)

While Spencer stirs up all sorts of trouble, Antonio attemps to make peace in his own little corner of Llanview: He decides that th ebest way to deal with his rivalry with Nash is to welcome him into his and Jessica's lives. The first of two overtures comes when Antonio breaks up a fight between an intoxicated Nash and Cristian.

"I think he sympathizes with what Nash is going through, so rather than arrest him and possibly make matters worse, he decides to help Nash," explains Kamar de los Reyes (Antonio). "He's telling Nash, 'If this continues, not only will I arrest you, but I'll bring you up in front of a family court judge on charges and make sure you never see your daughter again.' [But] he doesn't want to do that to Nash. Antonio wants him to be in his daughter's life."

Taken aback, Nash vows to try to clean up his act. Antonio extends another olive branch by asking Nash to be in his wedding party. "At some point, he's going to have to explain this relationship to Bree, and how nice would it be for her to look at wedding photos one day and Antonio can say, 'Here's your father,'" de los Reyes smiles. "It establishes that whole relationship and it makes Bree's understanding later on in life a little easier. That's how Antonio is thinking. He has a daughter of his own and he's thinking about the children first, and all of this other crap is second. They're adults and they should start acting like adults."
