Jess & Tess Integrate! (SID 9/12/06)

It's been a long road toward recovery, but this week on One Life to Live, Jessica and Tess are finally integrated. But which personality will come out on top?

The End Of Tess?
Despite the fact that she's been experiencing more of her alter's memories, Jessica vows to Nash that she -- not Tess -- will be the one to emerge from the integration process. Although the conversation leaves Nash's spirit battered and bruised, things brighten up considerably when she later asks him to attend the final integration session.

For his part, Antonio can't help but worry that he'll lose his girlfriend forever to a triumphant Tess, who will push him aside in favor of raising her daughter with Nash.

The Melding Crasher
As she continues to be deluged with memories of Tess' life with Nash, Jess begins to wonder if having Nash at the integration is such a great idea after all. Fearing that having the winemaker at the session might give Tess an advantage, Jess opts to rescind his invite.

Motivated by a powerful dream about his true love, however, Nash refuses to be left out of the fun. Just as Jessica is about to be put under hypnosis by Dr. Jamison, Nash barges in and insists on being there to see what comes out of the terribly tricky process!

Last Woman Standing
As Nat's sister undergoes her life-changing procedure, friends and loves ones gather to find out how things will turn out. At long last, the ordeal comes a conclusion, and after decades of being distinctly separate, Jessica and Tess appear to be fully and completely integrated. But as Antonio and Nash each wonder if the woman they love will emerge from the psychological haze, it isn't immediately clear whether they are seeing Jessica...or Tess!

"Once this is over," previews headwriter Dena Higley, "people won't be looking at her and asking 'Are you Jessica? Or are you Tess?' They'll know!" But will the woman who emerges want to spent her life with Antonio or Nash? And is it really over...or will the two personalities continue to clash down the line ala Viki and Niki? Only time will tell.....
