Accent Murder (SOD 2/7/06)

Forbes March (Nash) just finished shooting UNDONE, a horror movie directed by James DePaiva (ex-Max) and produced by and starring [James's wife] Kassie DePaiva (Blair). The experience provided an acting first for March: "It was my first time doing an accent," he smiles. "Well, except for this bloody American accent I've had to learn for all you guys down here -- torturous. I think I highly disappointed them. I was supposed to do a New England accent, but it was more like Forest Gump meets Katharine Hepburn. I told Jim DePaiva, 'I got something I wanna throw your way. Let me know what you think.' I started doing this accent, and half the crew was laughing and the other half's mouth was dropped in awe. It was either, 'Aw, that was amazing,' or 'Dude, what the [heck] was that?' So we'll see which side wins when it comes out [laughs]." The film should appear at film festivals later this year.
