Political Marches (Soaps In Depth 4/25/06)
There's a time and a place for everything, and for Forbes March (Nash),
that means not becoming politically active until later in life. "I don't
want to be one of these under-40 politically active actors," he says. "I
don't think anybody should get into politics unless he's marching and, you
know, getting hit with tear gas." It turns out that the star knows what he's
talking about, as he comes from a family of political protesters. "My dad,
my brother Andy -- all have been teargassed," he mentions. "My dad keeps
trying to tell me I should [join in] now, because if you're in the March
family you're supposed to." So, what did he tell his dad the last time he
was asked to partake in the, uh, festitvities? "I told him, 'I'm not going
-- are you crazy, man?' So he went by himself."
