Soaps' Most Beautiful Women: Bree Williamson (Soap Opera Digest
10/26/04)
Digest: How do you feel about being named one of soaps' most
beautiful women?
Bree Williamson: "I was surprised when I found out! I was like, 'Are
you sure they mean ME?' There are so many beautiful women on the show."
Digest: What is your morning beauty routine?
Williamson: "Getting out of my pajamas [laughs]. If I'm working, I
basically get up and go because they do everything there. On my days off,
I'll put on a little makeup. I really don't do too much because I'm so made-up
for work."
Digest: Who gave you your first beauty advice?
Williamson: "Well, my sister [Tarra] did, but I don't know if it was
good advice! She used to give me all these hairstyles, like very high ponytails,
that didn't look so good."
Digest: What are the most common beauty blunders?
Williamson: "When a person tries too hard. When a person just has
too much going on with her outfit and you can tell that she was going for
a certain look rather than putting on something that just looks flattering.
It looks too contrived."
Digest: How do you stay in shape?
Williamson: "I go running. John-Paul's [Lavoisier, Rex] girlfriend
Ashley, and I like to go running together. We go out about three nights a
week and run for about four-and-a-half miles. I also do yoga, and this winter
I'm looking forward to snowboarding. I'm active in general."
Digest: How do you definie beauty?
Williamson: "Something [that is not] contrived. Not trying too hard,
just being natural. And having a positive attitude."
Secret Weapon: "I love Peace-Keeper's product line, especially their
lip-gloss. All of their colors have cool names and the proceeds benefit women's
advocacy groups. My favorite color is called Integrity and is a dark color,
but it goes on light. Their glosses feel really comfortable when you wear
them, and the makeup is very forgiving. They're great!"
