Scenes From a Mall (Soap Opera Digest 5/25/04)

Though she's been on OLTL for more than a year, Bree Williamson (Jessica) admits that fan encounters can still be jarring, especially in Canada. "When I'm back home, sometimes it's almost like I forget I'm even on the show," she shares. "I'm just with my friends and family, and everything seems normal. But recently, I went home and was in the mall, and this woman comes up to me and is like, 'What are YOU doing here?' I didn't know at first whether she was surprised to see ME there or whether she was surprised to see Jessica, but it was funny. It was like, 'Yes, I live here, and, um, Jessica is just taking a vacation [laughs]."
