Jessica & Nash Finally Bond! (Soaps In Depth 1/17/06)

It's easy to see why Nash and Jessica would be wary of each other -- their goals are polar opposites. Nash wants Tess back permanently, and Jess wants Tess gone for good! So, when Nash managed to squeeze himself away from the Layla/Antonio/RJ shouting match, he didn't know what to expect when he entered Jessica's room at Llanfair. Having barely spent any time together previously, the two circled each other like prizefighters as each explained their side of the argument. Their sparring was interrupted by Jess'/Tess' baby moving and an overwhelmed Nash asking to feel her stomach. While first rejecting his request, the mood soon changed when Jessica nearly collapsed from a flashback. After getting helped to bed, a grateful Jess realized the apparent sincerity in Tess' beau and allowed him to feel what might actually end up being his baby. The performances here were so amazing that it didn't even seem out of place when Nash went on to steal a kiss -- just as Antonio walked in!
